NexiShare respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects users to do the same. We respond to clear notices of alleged copyright infringement in accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and equivalent laws elsewhere.
Filing a takedown notice
To file a notice, send the following information through our contact page or support email:
- Identification of the copyrighted work you believe is infringed.
- The exact share link or file URL on NexiShare that contains the material.
- Your contact information (name, address, phone, email).
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.
- Your physical or electronic signature.
Our process
Upon receiving a valid notice, we review it, may disable access to the reported link or file, and notify the uploading user where appropriate. Users may submit a counter-notice if they believe content was removed in error, which we will evaluate before deciding whether to restore access.
Repeat infringers
Accounts found to repeatedly infringe copyright may be suspended or terminated at our discretion.
Reporting abuse from a download page
Any public download page includes a "Report abuse" action that routes directly into our moderation queue for review.
