This Privacy Policy explains what information NexiShare ("NexiShare", "we", "us") collects when you use nexishare.eu.cc, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
- Account data: name, email address, and authentication identifiers from our authentication provider (including Google or GitHub account ID if you sign in that way).
- File metadata: file names, sizes, types, upload timestamps, and share settings (expiry, password state, download limits). File contents are stored on Cloudflare R2, not in our database.
- Usage data: link views, download counts, and approximate location/device information derived from IP address and user agent, used for analytics and abuse prevention.
- Support data: anything you send us through the contact form or support email.
How we use it
- To operate your account, uploads, and share links.
- To enforce plan limits, expiry rules, and password protection.
- To detect abuse, fraud, and violations of our Terms.
- To send transactional emails (verification, password reset, share notifications).
- To improve reliability and performance of the service.
What we don't do
We do not sell your personal information. We do not scan the contents of your files for advertising purposes.
Data retention
Uploaded files are automatically deleted 7 days after upload, regardless of whether you've moved them to Trash. This applies to the underlying file in storage — download it or re-upload it before the 7 days are up if you need to keep it longer. Share links pointing at an expired file will stop working once the file is removed. Account and profile data (not file contents) is retained until you delete your account.
Your rights
You can access, export, or delete your account data from Settings at any time, or by contacting us. Depending on your location, you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR or CCPA.
